In the last ten years, there have been 2118 deals in PropTech based Startups, they have attracted a total of $16.9bn in funding in this period. The average Funding deal size for PropTech based startups has been $10.5M and the Median deal size is $1.58M. This sector attracts a high amount of Seed/Angel round investment with over 57% of investment in the last ten years in seed/angel rounds of funding. The average funding in seed round was $1.22M. Series A rounds made up 25 % of total investments in the last ten years. In the year 2018, they have raised over $5.11 billion in over 420 deals, the sector has seen over 50% rise this year. The top investors in the segment are Y Combinator, Global Founders Capital, 500 Startups, MetaProp, TechStars, Khosla Ventures, Thrive Capital, Foundation Capital, Seedrs, Bessemer Venture Partners and Cannan Partners.
